Nina Ramirez, MD
Dr. Nina Ramirez is a native of New York City. She graduated from Cornell University Medical College in 1978, and completed her residency training in Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She performed her fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Children's Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. In July 2000, after 17 years in private practice, Dr. Ramirez returned to Fellowship training in the field of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine in Tampa. She has lectured frequently and is an author on issues related to allergy and pulmonary diseases. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Pulmonology, and Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Ramirez is a Fellow of the American Academy Of Pediatrics, the American College Of Chest Physicians, and a member of the American Academy Of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ramirez was just named a Florida Super Doctor in allergy for 2010-2011.
